Dental Team

Dr. Cathy, the owner of Shackleton Clinic, is an experienced dentist with over ten years in practice, specialising in preventative and restorative dentistry.

A graduate of University College Cork with honours and a gold medal in restorative dentistry, Cathy’s passion for dental care began early, earning distinctions in dental nursing and hygiene from Trinity College Dublin.

She now focuses on oral hygiene, fillings, crowns, and veneers. Cathy is committed to providing the highest standard of care to her patients. She is a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (RCSI) and the Irish Dental Association.

Meet Louise – our clinic manager. She’s the one who keeps everything on track, always making sure your experience is smooth, welcoming, and truly personal.

Meet our wonderful Dr. Tom.

Tom is an extremely experienced and approachable dentist, known for his expert care and calming presence with both adults and children.

Tom has thirty years’ experience in all aspects of dentistry. His expertise lends him to enjoying a challenge when it comes to dentistry, he is your man for difficult and less straightforward tooth adventures!

His overall goal is making patients feel comfortable, relaxed and more trusting at the end of his treatment.

Dr. Burhan Vapra is known for putting patients at ease and making every visit as relaxed as possible.

A Trinity College graduate with a special interest in extractions and pain-free dental care, he’s passionate about helping people regain confidence in their smile.

Dr. Vapra believes everyone deserves compassionate, high-quality treatment delivered with care and respect.

Dr Paulina is a specialist orthodontist with a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Romania, and a Master’s in Orthodontics and Orthopaedics.

After gaining experience in private practices, she moved to Ireland, where she is now registered with the Dental Council of Ireland.

Paulina is passionate about both aesthetics and functionality, continuously expanding her expertise with courses in TMJ disorders, biomechanics, and preventive orthodontics.

Dr. Roumaissa Slami graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2012 with an hours distinction in Dental Technology, later refining her prosthodontic skills in advanced dental laboratories.

Pursuing her passion, she earned her Dental Science degree in 2019 and now delivers exceptional care with a focus on composite bonding and instant veneers – a pain-free treatment for transforming smiles without damaging teeth.

As a mother of two, Dr. Slami is empathetic, kind, and dedicated to helping patients achieve confident, beautiful smiles. We’re delighted to have her on our team.
